Strickland ranks among top 20 in the world

Strickland, the top-ranked player in Oklahoma, competed in groups with players from Mexico, Japan, Italy, Canada and Singapore and qualified for the tournament by winning a regional in St. Louis, Mo., in May. Strickland finished the year with a 39 scoring average (9 holes) and is the daughter of Jae and Craig Strickland.

Her home course is John Conrad in Midwest City.
