State tourney hopes dashed for Midwest City, Choctaw

However, the Millers defeated Midwest City 7-0 in a winner’s bracket game. The loss pitted Midwest City against Norman North for a second time as the Bombers won, 7-3. The Bombers used home runs by Bruno and Brannon to secure the win. Junior hurler Joel Davis earned the win with a complete game. Read more

Carl Albert High School’s pom pon squad was crowned state champions for Class 5A in a competition held at the University of Oklahoma in October.
